Vapor Barrier are often used to refer to any material, typically an epoxy or glue that resists passage of moisture through wall, ceiling and floor assemblies of buildings. Technically, many of these materials are only vapor retarders as they have varying degrees of impermeability. Our knowledge of various sub-floors and which barrier works best with each, as well as the cost associated them, is extensive.
